Your guest leaves their first name and a short message on your page. When the money is in your account, you mark the gift as “arrived”: only the gifts that have arrived count towards what your guests see. The messages stay there, for the thank-yous.

Is the wedlist free?

Yes. Creating your wedlist is free, and WEWED takes no commission on gifts: what your guests give arrives in full in your account.

Where does the money go?

Straight from your guest's bank to yours, by ordinary bank transfer. WEWED never touches the money: it generates the QR code and helps you keep track of the gifts. Your IBAN is only used for that.

How do my guests give a gift?

They open your page, pick a project and scan the QR code with their banking app: the transfer is pre-filled, all that is left is to confirm it. No app to install, no account to create.

What if my guest doesn't have a banking app?

They can still give: the IBAN, the beneficiary and the payment reference are also shown in full, each with a button to copy it. They then make an ordinary bank transfer.

Can I link a project to a vendor?

Yes. A project can be about a vendor from the directory, the venue or the photographer for example, and their photo then illustrates the project on your page.

Does my wedlist show up on Google?

No. Your page does not appear in search engines: only the people you send the link to can reach it.
