What you drink matters as much as what you eat

Wines, bar, sparkling, alcohol-free. The drinks suppliers in the directory.

3 approved suppliers 3 provinces

This is the item where quotes differ the most, because three very different formats go by the same name. Corkage, per-person package, open bar: the question is not the price on the quote, it is what that price covers.

The 3 suppliers in the directory

Too few listings for a filter by criterion: this one will appear once the trade has enough people.

Or by province

Supply is not spread evenly across the provinces. That is why the province is a filter here, and not a page of its own.

How to choose your drinks

  1. 1Compare the three formatsCorkage, price per person, open bar. The same budget gives very different evenings.
  2. 2Count one bottle for twoFor a seated meal with wine. Add the sparkling wine for the aperitif and the dessert separately.
  3. 3Plan a decent alcohol-free optionA third of your guests drink little or nothing. Still water and orange juice is not an offer.
  4. 4Check the coolingBringing three hundred bottles to temperature takes space and hours. Ask who handles it.
  5. 5Return what is leftMany suppliers take back unopened bottles. Get it in writing.

The five questions to ask

  • Does the venue corkage fee apply to your delivery?
  • Do you take back unopened bottles, and on what terms?
  • Are the serving equipment and the chilling included?
  • What do you offer alcohol-free that is not a mass-produced juice?
  • Do you deliver the day before, and can the venue store it?

What it costs

From 12 € per person for a simple package to 45 € and up for a full open bar.

These amounts are market benchmarks I wrote myself, not measurements. No listing in this category has entered a price in the database.

What's moving right now

  • ·Alcohol-free done properly, real recipes rather than a juice.
  • ·Natural wines and growers named on the list.
  • ·Cocktail bars down to two signature drinks, rather than a full menu.
  • ·Belgian sparkling wines, replacing entry level champagne.

Frequently asked questions

Can you bring your own wine?

Often yes, in exchange for a corkage fee. That is the first question to ask the venue, before you compare suppliers.

How many bottles should you plan for?

About one for every two people at a seated meal, plus the sparkling for the aperitif and the dessert.

The other categories

Each one sorts its vendors by what really sets them apart.
